I had never seen one of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s choreagraphies. Maybe did I saw him dancing at PARTS, Anne-Teresa de Keersmaeker’s school in Brussels where we sometimes went when we lived close by, but I am not sure, and it was before he became a famous choreographer. It was remedial class yesterday for “Foi” the first part of his “Triptyque”.
It is a trip to a faraway world, which we nonetheless recognise, because it is ours. To say more would be saying too much.
It’s too late for the first part, but you can go to the other two.
